Capcom teased the next installment of their popular fighting series on Thursday. Street Fighter 5 (totally original name, guys!) will land on PlayStation 4, PC, and…that’s it. Rovio, creator of the beloved Angry Birds series of games, recently finished a round of layoffs. The developer eliminated 110 positions and closed its office in Tampere, Finland. Rovio continues to move forward with movie and television adaptations of the Angry Birds franchise, as well its own publishing venture.
Kudos to Jason Yester of TRiNiTY Brewing Co., who did the right thing and returned the silver medal his brewery won at the Festival of Barrel Aged Beers, held in Chicago recently. Why? The brew that the brewery submitted for the Wild/Brett category was the wrong one; it didn’t contain any Brettanomyces at all, it contained Lactobacillus. For its part, the festival organizers have admitted their mistake.
Ever wanted to show off your mad DOTA skills, but found Twitch’s logo a little too purple? Then, my friend, you should try the latest addition to the Steam platform: broadcasting. Viewers will have the option to watch games from players on their Friends list, while gamers can opt-in to broadcasting the first time someone requests to watch. For more details, click on that link.
The 2014 edition of the Game Awards took place last night, and while the show is probably best know for its slate of world premieres, it doled out some accolades as well. The full list of winners is linked above, but here are the highlights:

Christmas has come early for passengers on Delta Airlines. The carrier has announced that it will start carrying local craft beers on some of its flights. You can expect brews from the likes of Ballast Point, Lagunitas, Newburyport, and Stone Brewing Co. A first class brew in an economy seat? Wow!
