Nintendo’s hotly anticipated fighter will hit North American shores on November 21, before hitting Europe on December 5 and arriving in Japan and Australia on December 6. You can also expect the Amiibo line of figures to be released at the same time, going for $12.99 a figure.
Stone Brewing officially announced Thursday that they have selected Richmond, Virginia to be the site of their east coast brewery. The site, when finished, will include a 200,000-square-foot brewery, a brewhouse that can accommodate 250 barrels, a company store, and an eatery. The brewery will be part of the first phase of construction and is expected to be complete by late 2015 or early 2016.
I have to be one of the last remaining Words with Friends players in the world. And it seems Zynga has not forgotten us. Today marks the release of New Words with Friends. This latest incarnation of the social word-building game includes solo play, a built-in dictionary, and a new matchmaking system. The free versions are available now, with a paid version coming for iOS later.
I don’t watch Ellen and I’d imagine a lot of readers of this fine column don’t either. Well, we missed out. During his appearance on the afternoon talk show, Robert Downey Jr., a.k.a. Tony Stark, originally announced that there would be a fourth Iron Man movie, but seems to have backtracked since then. Who knows what the big wigs at Marvel/Disney are up to, but I’ll bet it’s going to be a fun ride.
Heads up, PSN fanboys and fangirls. Sony has announced that the PlayStation Network will undergo maintenance on October 13. The outage, which starts at 10am Pacific/1pm Eastern, will last seven hours, during which time Sony engineers will deploy improvements for the network’s infrastructure. You’ll be able to play online and watch the new season of Orange is the New Black, but don’t expect to buy anything or update your account.
